Sansara

The Samsara collective whose songs have become quite popular is a Russian indie rock band from Yekaterinburg, whose leader is Lebedev, aka Alexander Gagarin.
In June 1997, the first solo concert thundered in their hometown, in the Sphinx club. The musicians showed themselves to the public and won their share of the audience. Following the concert, "Sansara" was invited to the famous rock festival "Beginning", where a huge number of people came to listen to the "Sansara" group, where they took first place in the vocal nomination and received the Audience Award. The group was formed spontaneously, and none of the group had a musical education, which amazed the audience even more.
The Sphinx club closed after a while for some unknown reason, and the guys had to move on. They did not have a studio recording of their songs on their hands. In 1998, Sasha pulled himself together and organized the recording of the group at the Babylon studio in Yekaterinburg. The record company helped release four of the band's songs, and the debut mini-single, Sansara, was soon released.
The first large-scale concert for a large audience took place in the Variety Theater in his native Yekaterinburg in 2000. Gagarin, himself not expecting such a furore, began to receive invitations from the group to perform: the action of the Chaif group, The Rooks Have Arrived, the Invasion festival and others.
In 2002, the group "Samsara" whose texts were quite fond of the listener, had a chance to perform at the huge festival "Maksidrom". The group was preparing and recording a new program at a recording studio, with the help of Shakhrin Volodya from the Chaif group. The songs were successfully recorded and later released on the Soyuz label. The musicians named their first full-fledged album "Maskidrom", in honor of the festival for which it all began.
The success of "Samsara" only grew, tours and tours did not leave any free time. The group was the initiator of the creation of the festival "Three of us easier", which enjoyed enormous popularity.
By 2008, the musicians had released four albums and a concert film entitled "Sansara: yu lav mi", with the support of Navigator Records. Gagarin realized that the era of CD media was running out of steam, and posted the album "Fires" on the Internet for free download. This edition was not commercial and everyone had access to the songs on file hosting. The album was downloaded more than 20, 000 times, the ratings of "Samsara" just went off scale. Gagarin said: - "The transition from a physical medium of music to digital format (Internet) is a chance to bring your work to the listener faster and more accessible."
The next album "69" was also "uploaded" to the Internet, like the last one. The download statistics showed more than 5, 000 views from twenty different sites on the network.
The group does not fade to this day, it is in demand and loyalty of its fans. Another album called "Swallow", but most likely not the last, was released in 2016.
